Its Spring Time!

30th October, 2017

This is without doubt, my favourite time of the year and what a beautiful spring we have had so far.

Our studio garden has bloomed and the creek bed is awash with colour as the winter lilies come out of their annual hibernation.

We've just come to the end of the Adelaide Fashion Festival and what a great atmosphere there was from the CBD, to the surrounding suburbs and into the sticks with the Rural Runway. It's now time to keep your eyes peeled for those remaining Spring/Summer collections.

We've worked with some extraordinary brands and very talented creatives over the past couple of months and had a lot of fun styling concepts and pushing the norm to execute a wide range of briefs.

As always we extend our love and thanks to our on-going clients.

Love & Light x

At the end of August we saw our creative shoot featured in gorgeous Parisian fashion magazine, ELEGANT. Working with a wonderful team including emerging fashion designer Kristy Ward, make-up guru Amanda Nash and the beautiful Abuk of Finesse Models we set to juxtapose a blend of metallic pinks against a beautifully raw Australian bush setting. Dodging rain clouds and jumping fences we managed to shoot all 6 looks in just 3 hours.

L'Oréal Australia Colour Trophy (SA/TAS) Semi-Finalist

Teaming up with my good friend, senior stylist and director of Artique Hair Studio, Marco Giorgio, we styled shot and entered this year's L'Oreal Colour Trophy and were announced as Semi Finalists, where Marco will now recreate the look live on stage Sunday 29th Oct for a chance to progress to the National finals.

Mazz Prints Lookbook S/S 18 - Belair Studio

In fitting with this beautiful season we thought we'd share a couple of shots from our recent lookbook shoot for Mazz Prints. Keep your eyes on this one! Sassy Adelaide designer Marie Tizzah is about to launch her first extensive line and IT IS HOT!
Identifying with the aesthetic vibrancy of Africa, this ready to wear, mix gender collection spills with culture and has been stylishly crafted with beautiful details to flatter a full range of body types.

Another bounty of product hit the studio from WA to NSW spanning a number of industries. Make-up smears are coming along really nicely and having clients allow you to really get creative always opens the imagination.
